Bag a President

   Through the search engines on the website or a visit to the library read about your president. As you read, choose interesting facts that will grab your listener’s attention.  Find ten artifacts one representing each of the ten facts. If Ben Franklin were president he could be associated with key because he tied this to a kite and investigated electricity.  You could include pair of spectacles because he invented the bifocals. You will be surprise to learn that many of the presidents have quirky personalities and interests.

               Along with you “bag presentation” you should include a ten paragraph essay.  The essay should include ten well-constructed paragraphs describing the significance of each artifact.  Remember to introduce your president in the first paragraph. You will do an oral presentation of your particular “president in a bag”.  The presentation will consist of introducing your president and telling about the significance of each item in your bag.
