The course, United States Government, studies the six basic principles of the Constitution:popular Sovereignty, Limited Government, Separation of Powers, Checks and Balances, Judicial Review and Federalism.These principles are discussed and outline on the federal, state and local level.Within these principles students with discuss a variety of current events and topics which pertain to the implementation of these governing principles.

Four term average = .75% of final grade
Midterm and final exams = 15% of final grade
Ten page writing requirement level 3 or five page writing requirement level 2 = 10% of final grade due Feb. 10th

If you are absent the day of a test you have one day to make it up.It will not be the same test, but it will be equal in content and difficulty.
Tuesday is extra help day.
Term paper is due on Feb. 10th(5 points deducted for every school day that it is late).If you pass it in promptly on Feb. 10th, I will add 5 points.
